Introducing iÆREAS Group - Creating a new dot org committed to Sustainopreneurship
A working name of a new organization was introduced in a paper I presented at www.isdrs.org in Västerås, Sweden, in June, 2007 - Association of Enactive Research, Education and Application for Sustainopreneurship.
Since enough publications in the academic, respected and publically trusted research community in enough diverse contexts now have given approval of the conceptual development and the definition, the time has come to form and formalize a new organization to give leverage to sustainopreneurship. It has as target groups primarily three stakeholders, researchers with interest in sustainopreneurship, educators willing to learn and teach about the phenomenon, and of course, the sustainopreneurial activists/practitioners and business-with-a-cause team founders themselves!
Look out for a dedicated static website, an external blog syndicated here as well, and a wiki, that will present the intention with the organization, and how to be a part of the Interim Association in itself. The first round of individual stakeholders will be directly invited by the brand and idea creator - me, that is :). They are chosen from the long-term committment to the issues and (inter)action in the field I have been a part of since year 2000, with a networked acceleration the last couple of years.
The website will also point to mentioned publications - historical, and future in the loop, as well as themes for future (enactive) research and publishing and concrete future publications in the work.
