Originally I had thought music but the copyright issues make me lean towards audio I already have open access to, however I am still open on that.

- Why I entered this Café, and what I expect from being here, joining up with community members:
- I opened and started this café to find a calm, noise-free, uncluttered environment where reflections and learnings of the phenomenon I discovered at first, but did not have a name for, can be created. I am convinced that sustainopreneurship is a crucial element in our journey towards a sustainable world. Means to get there has to be found, since this is the only way we can even think of the children of grandgrandgrandchildren some seven generations ahead. Think of them while you live now, as the wise Native American sentiment echoes in the bottom line of the sustainability paradigm. It is probably 50 000 years old, so let's take care of that insight, here and now.
And making a good business in a true sense, with respect for people and planet, from innovations and ideas working as solutions to all our problems, and turn obstacle into an opportunity, for you, for your family and friends, for your close community, for the whole world!
I expect a vibrant conversation from and in between the community members!
And if the locally produced sandwiches or the organic/fair traded coffee or tea is not satisfactory, please report it immediately to the Café Host :). Quality, all dimensions, required :).

- 1. For your business idea for sustainability, yes! - Idea First, Idea First, IDEA FIRST, then Business Model rough draft...then ACT :
- Networking
(people and relations - build community around your idea, also to help you craft your biz idea and model - NOT BIZ PLAN at this stage...the deskboard/keyboard is NOT reality, only a microscopic part of your Universe...),
- Branding
(identity - individual as well as collective: one collective is community - another one is team) when Cornerstone Team has been created (kick off from the Tandem Team of two and extend to the Magic Five if possible),
...and test your idea against reality before making any lengthier plan, and that means...
2. Get your First Customer before you get your first more extended, formal and external financial backup, maybe you don't even need third party money at all - there are a gazillion of ways to bootstrap yourself all the way towards the World's Greatest in your Niche - On the road towards success: In the beginning and in the end it is sales, logistics, work, work, work, sales, work, sales, sell harder, work even harder, expect heaven, expect hell, near-life-and-death-experiences, LIFE, LIVED TO THE FULLEST - and quickly learn and adapt from experiences making you go another way. Iterate, real-time instant feedback loops sometimes reacting and responding milliseconds of ping away on the net - and offline...
In All Phases - let Social Media and Web Apps form the backbone in All Processes and flows of the sustainability business - getting leverage on steroids for all! You are Born Global from the first http://... associated with your biz4sustainability!

Conversation Kick-Off! Group discussion about Sustainability vs Sustainable Entrepreneurship
Giving response to a feedback I received when I presented the paper on outlining future research on sustainopreneurship - that in fact challenged the very core element of the new conceptual development - the Cause dimension. There was not enough space, time and room to continue the conversation, since it was in the last slot of the third day, and only gave 15 minutes in general after an equal fifteen minute presentation of the paper. Introducing iÆREAS Group - Creating a new dot org committed to Sustainopreneurship

Small update - conceptualizing, researching, grouping
I see that some members found the community by serendipity. I have updated the "disclaimer textbox" with the fact that I got the Master Thesis together in May, 2007, and directly followed the authoring of a research paper for the conference ISDRS 13th. Hello world!
So - now we have set up a community for Sustainopreneurs. Or at least, we are sandboxing the Ning Platform (www.ning.com) to see if it fits the purposes and supports us who rises to the challenges formulated by the Sustainability Agenda - and to make great businesses out of the world's biggest problems.
